The idea of giving gifts, instead of flowers came from Jan, founder of Gift Instead of Flowers, when she was gifted bunches of beautiful flowers during an illness, a lovely gesture that was much appreciated but flowers fade away leaving just note cards. So, the idea arose that it would be lovely to give a small beautiful gift that could leave a lasting memento for all kinds of occasions and the new idea was launched.
After visiting hundreds of exhibitions, trade shows and fairs, the new website was launched showcasing the amazing and unique talent of artists and small businesses in the UK with all products being under £80.
