I specialise in producing coloured pencil, or graphite, portraits of animals. I provide highly detailed pictures that capture the character, and individual personality, of your well loved pet. I am passionate about this, and you only pay for the portrait when you are 100% happy with the final photo I send to you. You will receive the Original drawing and no further copies are taken to use as prints.
I love to draw animals, and wildlife in general and spend my days with our Border Terrier, Pepper, and Toffy, our Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, creating my artwork and consider myself very lucky to be able to do this for my living. I find inspiration from the stunning wildlife all around us and is something I am passionate about drawing.
I work with only the best materials I can find. I use a combination of Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran d’Ache and Pablo pencils, for their light fastness and archival quality. I currently use Saunders Waterford Watercolour paper which is 100% long fibre cotton, mould made paper, acid free and buffered against atmospheric contamination giving archival permanence.
