About Martha and Hepsie
We’re sisters! After both completing design degrees many moons ago, Martha in Textile Design and Hepsie in Fashion & Business, we each worked for a number of years in the design industry before setting up martha and hepsie ltd back in 2011.
We have since worked our creative socks off to establish a successful retail and wholesale business around our young families, creating beautifully unique homeware and gifts for our customers.
Martha holds the pencil in our partnership and designs all our prints & products as well as snapping all of our photography. Hepsie dances with data and is creator of communications and between us, we get everything else done!
We both run M&H whilst juggling family life and running our own separate freelance projects.
We live in different parts of the UK and have successfully worked remotely for the last 12 years! Martha lives in the steel city of Sheffield with her husband and two little boys & Hepsie lives near the North Devon coast with her husband and two teenagers.
Everything you see is proudly designed by us and made in the UK.
We have had the pleasure of working on several exciting collaborations and wholesale projects along the way, including work with the British Skin Foundation, bespoke designs for the Deputy Prime Minister, book cover designs for BOSH and numerous private commissions.
Our products have been sent across the world and have been in a number of stockists including a selection of John Lewis stores as part of their ‘made locally’ initiative.
