About Hurdwick

I handmake cowhide bags and accessories, leather bags and accessories and horse riding bags, in a small workshop in the rolling hills of West Devon, between Dartmoor and the river Tamar.

My range of handmade bags and accessories carries the name of the local Hurdwick quarry – famous for the stone from which the nearby town of Tavistock is built.

Designed from scratch and formed from hand-cut patterns, each individually-crafted bag takes its title from a quarrying term, reflecting the location of my workshop, on the site of the old Hurdwick Stone quarry.

If you have any questions at all about my range of handmade bags and accessories, or would like to discuss a variation of a bag, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
