About Blended Therapies
Jackie Gillard, owner and aromatherapist for Blend Therapies, began her nursing career in 1979. She undertook her nurse training at Charing Cross hospital in London in 1981, and went on to work in paediatrics as a ward sister and then diabetes specialist nurse before entering the world of Primary care in GP land.
General practice is where Jackie’s heart lies and she was able to inspire and teach student nurses and go on to undertake the role of education facilitator for West Kent. Jackie is proud of her long nursing career and says “nursing is the best career and I am proud to be part of it”.
Some of her highlights are featuring on the BBC News dressed as Snow White at the princess and super hero flu vaccination party – an idea replicated every year since by many surgeries. She was also proud to lead the set-up of Maidstone’s Covid Hub (featured on Channel 4).
Blended Therapies was born in 2005 and is a growing Kent based business, developing, making and selling therapeutic aromatherapy products. We sell to the general public via the internet and through many different gift outlets. We are proud to supply to the National Trust in the South of Britain. All of our products are handmade using base products with no lanolin or parabens and natural SLEs.
