Amelia Anderson is a classically trained artist. Throughout her life she has always been passionate about art and is happiest with a pencil or paintbrush in her hand. She spent 3 years learning the art of portraiture in Italy, learning to paint from life in a method used by the Old Masters such as Velasquez, Rembrandt and Sargent. On her return from Art School she began teaching art to young school children.
Over time Amelia’s work has developed and she spends much of her time drawing animals and designing fun new images in her quirky pen and watercolour style. You can now find her designs on cards, prints, notepads, tea towels and more.
She lives in Northumberland with her husband and combines her work with looking after their 4 young daughters.
